Remember all those kids’ toys laced with extra vitamin Pb last year? (That’s lead for you non-chemies.) Well Congress just got around to passing a bill to deal with it, which requires people producing toys for kids under 12 to certify their products as safe via a $400 - $4000 test per product.
The problem? There’s no exclusion for microbusiness and/or home crafters, like Etsy...
