Idiosyncratic Routine

amberella

Welcome to my idiosyncratic routine.

I am the epitome of the Spike viewer demographic: 18-25, work at a midtown hedge fund, am a techie geek, play video games, read comics & scifi, watch movies where stuff blows up, etc.

Except how I'm a girl.

I'm starting this tumblog because people are tired of me sharing items via Google Reader to which they cannot link.

Let's watch.

For Your Perusal: A Collection of Rap Covers

I’m not going to turn this into a review of the platform or a statement on the ethical or legal implications implied by a service like blip.fm, I’m just going to say that as for the ability to play with your music in a group setting in a totally immediate, instant-gratification kind of way, it’s unrivaled right now.

All the songs are clickable to enjoy the magic.  Uh - I don’t suggest you start or end with the Tori song, it will mess up your day.

Since we searched several threads to get some ideas we hadn’t heard of, I’ll throw in that these are “funny weird indie pop punk covers of ghetto rap songs.” Have at it, bots.
