It’s somehow comforting to know that the suckfest that occurs in one’s head during those times isn’t unique. I think it’s [a little] easier to avoid the slippery slope of utter isolation and “why me” if you can recognize that the symptoms of a mental short circuit aren’t unique to you and are not really your whole reality. If that makes sense…
