Check out the torrent tracker. Seems like things are popping up on YouTube and Vimeo as well. (Vimeo FTW, people)
Note: It is my personal opinion that paying $75 per HOPE ticket should have granted us access to $5 DVDs of the talks we saw in person. Let people buy them for $20 a pop via the website after the fact, if they’d like. $20 at the conference per talk??? Ridiculous. I do know that the price hike was caused by moving from a guaranteed contract with the DVD burner company to a cut of the profits contract situation. I’m guessing he cut his nose off to spite his face on that one, as my mother would say, as numerous people lamented the crazy pricing scheme and walked away empty handed.
That said, do support 2600 in any way you can and certainly thrown down for an official copy if you’re buying it for use at a company. (As of this post, it doesn’t look like the videos are for sale on the website yet. YEMV.)

When I was little, my mom transferred to me her freaky affinity for aardvarks. Perhaps it’s their funny little noses, perhaps it’s that most words don’t start with two of the same letter - I never bothered to ask. Regardless, this call to name an aardvark (or anteater, if you must) at the Los Angeles County Zoo after Neil Gaiman is something I can totally support.
The little dude would be part of the educational program wherein he would be toted around to schools to teach kids what animals are like before they all go extinct after the Large Hadron Collider disrupts time and space later today. For your meager online contribution of a few dollars, we can manifest the sentence “Who’d like to pet Neil Gaiman? He comes out at night to feast on insects.”
That’s the kind of choas I can totally get behind.
UPDATE: As of Sept 12th, they have $1570 / $4400. C’mon - it’s $10. Pony up, people.
So… Salvo’s homophobic and anti-choice and really creepy.
No more money in your little red buckets. I’ll be supporting other charities, thank you.
Say What?
Well look like this Christmas I’ll be saving my pennies for my Local Woman’s Clinic.

My money’s going toward the local food bank, y’all.
Not surprising… they’re considered a church. That’s how they continue to get away with it.
Spread the word, and send them the way of the dinosaur.
I’ve been saying that for years. http://blip.fm/~gwrhk
