Now we have three.

An astute assumption, to be sure.
In our mad rush to categorize and label everyone, I think we might be getting a little carried away with ourselves at this point. Sure, we can all spot a 70’s stached, skinny black jean wearing, pabst blue ribbon drinking hipster a mile away, but even if they can manage to constantly update their facebook, would a hipster really say “That’s so 2.0?” Not so sure. Then again, perhaps that’s just because I have a tendancy to say, “That’s so 3.0…” See mainstreamers, geek culture was cool until YOU got here.

This hit Cobble Hill; where’s the Park Slope love? I get off the subway @ the AA on Flatbush & 7th Ave every day… my eyes are peeled.
Sidenote: I hate the expression “my eyes are peeled.” Gross.
I’m in an art mood today. This is Ricardo Salamanca; I’m so in love with it.
ART DISCLAIMER: Some pieces have boobies. Very disturbing boobies.

So I’m scrolling through my RSS feeds and BAM run across this. That dude on the left was one of my friends from high school. Apparently he haz moar famous than I thought? He’s smart, funny, and talented, so I guess I’m not that surprised.
Living in Park Slope, I hear these shouted after adorable (if sometimes evil) little munchkins constantly. The worst offenders? Definitely Olive, Violet, and Sebastian. I do hear a lot of “Maddie,” though, which I assume is short for Madison and is not on the list. Hmmmm.

Cobra Starship. <3
Honestly, I’m a bigger This Is Ivy League fan.
Either way, I’m a huge fan of my friends being really successful in whatever they choose to do. Sometimes I’m completely awed at the breadth of industries we’ve chosen… it’s reminds me of how tiny variabilities in the early universe were compounded and extrapolated into things so different, one can’t even see how they’re connected anymore. But they are.
