Ruger Blackhawk Trigger Unisex Necklace: Ken & Dana’s Gun Reclamation Project transforms guns taken off NYC streets into into jewelry.
Unnecessary personal story:
My parents considered knowing how to load, shoot, and disassemble a variety of weapons to be an important apocalypse skill for any child. My favorite part of going to the range was fishing through the huge can of spent shell casings to find the most interesting looking pieces. Cutting them up, grinding them down, and reassembling them into jewelry was one of my first counter-culture art making endeavors. I was very proud of myself. My school teachers? Not as much so.

Oooooooooh… I have always loved Cuban-heel stockings, but never saw this color combination. Found them on Amazon (oddly, not on the LegAvenue website). Squee!

I am so torn about the Sony Reader.
I’m way too financially challenged to spend the amount of money I do on books as it is, but I just can’t stop; I’m a proud addict.
The $300 price tag on this, plus that the books are still $6 - $13 a piece, is pretty ouchie on my wallet right now. That said, I WANT WANT WANT. I think I’m getting a permanent neck issue from lugging around the tomes I read on my subway commute everyday.
It’s my understanding that the immense library of Google Books can be “tweaked” to be readable on the Reader for free, but it’s not a seamless kinda thing.
Sigh. Should I get it or wait for the next generation?
